Foreclosure Prevention Counseling
Overview
Community Action Agency is a HUD approved housing counseling agency and certified through the State of Michigan to provide free foreclosure intervention counseling to the residents of Jackson, Hillsdale, and Lenawee counties. Counselors are dedicated to helping homeowners understand what options are available based on their individual situation or needs. Most importantly counselors’ help homeowners develop a plan of action to resolve their housing crisis and connect them with helpful community resources.
Who is Eligible?
All services are FREE and provided to homeowners who are facing foreclosure, at risk of foreclosure or have been through foreclosure and are in need of assistance with post-foreclosure services, such as securing housing.
